“My mother-in-law (98) has been welcomed unreservedly. She feels safe and respected. She said she has joined a community. After many years of living alone she has been touched by the tenderness and, consequently, she feels uplifted. Thank you.”

“My mother, aged 104, was welcomed into Dyneley House three months ago. We cannot praise all of the caring, professional staff enough for the way in which she was very quickly made to feel part of the Dyneley family, as were we. It’s a true mark of their focus on each person, that she moved so seamlessly from independent living into care.”

“Dyneley House is a home-from-home experience. My aunt enjoyed the comfortable, relaxed environment but was also able to join many of the regular social activities. As a relative, I have always been warmly welcomed and contacted with any information. It’s important to know your loved one is being well cared for. Highly recommended.”

“The hardworking, compassionate staff are consistently friendly and attentive to my mother's needs. The home has a great programme of events, any excuse to make a day special and memorable. My Mum counts herself lucky to be in this best-kept secret in Leeds.”

“Thanks for all the love and care you and all the staff all gave to mum in the 5 1/2 years she was with you. I remember her saying when I first came… “it makes all the difference in the world knowing and feeling the people actually care” and it never wavered, I know I will always be grateful for all the support towards me to.”

“I wanted to express deep gratitude for the love and care you gave to my mother in the 11 years stay with you. She has been looked after by so many of your team over the years, and we have always been confident she has had the same care as if shed had been looked after at home by the family. You have made it a pleasure to come and visit her and you have made all the family so welcome.”

“We are very happy with Dyneley House which has a good atmosphere. We were very worried about Mum being in a care home, but she's happy and well looked after. The staff: care staff, cleaning staff, chef, kitchen staff and admin staff all give their very best and more when providing an excellent service here. They are friendly and personable while carrying out busy caring duties. It's pristinely clean, and the food is excellent. Staff and residents always have a friendly smile for visitors. They gave us an excellent tea with a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday with Mum, which really was going above and beyond.”

“It’s been a difficult week for us as a family and the care and support we have received from Dyneley has been outstanding. I imagine it was difficult dealing with a medical emergency in front of a relative. All the staff attending to my mum were brilliant: they were calm, skilful, caring, and compassionate and worked so well as a team to deal with the situation. I know the staff went above and beyond to ensure that mum got back to Dyneley on Tuesday night. Since then, staff have been so supportive giving me updates via text and facetime. Mum could not be better cared for and we could not be better supported. So, a heartfelt thank you to all of you.”

“From the moment we arrived we knew that dad was in safe hands, and we were all made to feel so very welcome. There were times he wasn’t the easiest to look after but each member of staff always did their best for him and tackled each request with a smile and reassuring warmth that we know he so appreciated, and we certainly did. You have all become his family and the excellent level of care he received, we are convinced contributed towards his piece and comfort during his final days.”

“My mother moved into Dyneley House three weeks ago, and we are very happy with it. Staff are professional, caring, warm and friendly. It has a lovely atmosphere, is homely and well-kept with a fabulous garden. It is small enough to feel like a family home and for Mum to be able to get to know other residents and staff. There is space for Mum to be with others or not as preferred. The food is excellent, there are always activities to join in as wished. Staff are patient and attentive and have taken time to get to know my mum, her preferences, how she likes to live and her interests. We have great peace of mind knowing my mum is at Dyneley and we know she is treated as an individual and looked after with kindness, care and dignity.”

“My mother-in-law has been cared for in Dyneley House for just over four months at the age of 107! Although a difficult move, having lived independently all her life, my mother-in-law has made a remarkable transition to her new home and feels very well cared for by the wonderful staff at Dyneley. Although her room is small, my mother-in-law has everything she needs to make her feel comfortable and the team have made her feel like part of the family from day one. We've been particularly impressed with the range of activities offered by the home and my mother-in-law has particularly enjoyed an outing to Nostell Priory, weekly fitness classes, reminiscing about the old days with other residents and joining in with the Frank Sinatra tribute act. We continue to be very grateful for the care and attention my mother-in-law receives at Dyneley and feel reassured that she's in the best possible place to live out her life with dignity and respect.”
