ZooLab Visit to Our Care Home: Bringing Nature to Life for Our Residents

We’re always looking for innovative ways to support the wellbeing of our residents and last week, we had a special visit from ZooLab, that brought a variety of creatures into Dyneley. Residents were able to handle a cockroach, millipede, and giant snail to name a few! Providing an interactive, educational, and therapeutic experience.

In addition to the hands-on interaction, the ZooLab presenter shared fascinating facts about each animal, explaining where they come from, how they live, and their role in the ecosystem. The residents were eager to learn, asking questions and sharing their own thoughts and experiences with animals. It was an opportunity not only for fun but for education, stimulating cognitive engagement.
